The Office Chair

I fear that my office chair cannot be trusted;
every few hours it must be adjusted.
But the chair must be kept in the grandest of whack
or else the adjustment will be on my back.

Corporate Intern

was eager to please;
spoke so politely
and begged on his knees,
made us all cookies,
addressed us as "sire" --
we'll treat him much worse
once we tell him "you're hired".

Does Microsoft see
that it's gone off the track
when you're made to use Windows
but allowed to use Mac?

Looking over your shoulder
while you try to toil
is rude -- even bolder --
and makes your blood boil
It will drive you to gnash
and cause hair to gray
but you work in a cube
so you're there on display.
