Sometimes these things start out with too many syllables in each line,
which screws up the cadence
and violates time
so I have to edit
to make it sound fine
while you can still get it
and see the thing's spine
which is deeply embedded
but jeez I do love and I just want to keep and I'm too soft to change that beginning and ending...
line.
