Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 07:01AM This morning I woke
and I saw the fresh snows;
heard Hazel the kitten
complain at cold toes.
The furnace kicks in
every couple of hours
to keep me from freezing
and provide nice hot showers.
As I dig out my scarf
and my gloves and my sweater
and can't help but wonder
if Florida's better.

It must be the geese it's scared of;
so am I; those honkers are mean.
