Bill and Dave's Furniture Emporium

Hewlett-Packard made a pad
they couldn't sell retail.

They moved them better with a going
out of business sale.

Tech journalism is drivel

Apparently the only way
to write some tech-blog filler:
read press release at CES;
pen headline query "...killer?"

Gadgetree

Holidays over
and gadgets were had;
some will be useful
but most are just fad.
A few are made well;
the rest are just bad,
with design, fit, and finish
that just make me sad.

Take Two Tablets

Apple, they say, will have this new thing
that will wow you and awe you from now until spring.
It will be a big screen with no keyboard or mouse
and most people will want three or four in their house.

What it does, how it works, why it's cool
we don't know, but for sure it's the tool
that will make your mind grow --
the design and the software will perfectly flow

from the vision of Steve (OMG he's so great)
and the sweat of his staff who are all working late.
I don't know how we'll hold out 'til Jan twenty-seven;
when they open the gate into Apple-fan heaven.
