Economy

"Healthy" or "traumatized"
journalists sing
absurdly. It's process
not person or thing.

What do they really think?

Economists have started claiming
better outlooks in the cards.
Makes you think they might be gaming:
whistling past a dark graveyard.

Owe come on

The world don't owe us no livin,' it's said;
it feels like it thinks we owe it one instead.

From money to time to the new one: attention,
what's ours is the target of much intervention.

Can we get through a life with our selves still intact
when we live in a culture designed to extract?

Money type 2

Nobody's hiring
'cause they can't pay,
And it's due to their customers
going away.

The banks are not lending;
their money's too tight.
Sober economists
quiver in fright.

But the things people want
are the same as before;
to work and create and produce
even more.

We go through this
over and over again
and we can't seem to fix it.
Will we ever learn? When?

But if we had cash
of type 1 and type 2,
perhaps we'd have options
and more things to do.

If type 1's running short
'cause of some global mess
then we'd turn to type 2
and still function, I guess.

There could be a new balance
to soften the bumps.
When bankers go bad
we'd just bypass those chumps.

You could pay, when you shop,
with a buck or a doe
and get paid that way too,
and if one gets too low

then you'd switch to the other
and maybe we'd see
that the system would work
automatically.

Wall Street

What's the best result for those wall street guys?
How about a bullet -- right between the eyes?
