she'll nip you on your toes.

The hungry Chihuahuas, getting up from their naps,
and sniffing, discovered awaiting them, scraps
left over, it seemed, from humans' slow lunching
and now just the thing for quick snatching and munching.
Chihuahuas were pleased with the pets they had found;
It was tasty to keep those slow humans around.
